The Memory of Stones
Through a direct gesture, stoneware slabs are applied to granite rock formations just before they are submerged by the high tide, capturing their textures, strata and irregularities.
Firing transposes these imprints from one mineral to another. The work forms a fragmented cartography of erosion.
