Sculptural Stoneware Vase - Sandy Clay - 03

A labour of spontaneous love, this unique vase has been slowly pinched into this organic form, with its unique design naturally dictated by the clay. 

It is hand-built from a high-quality, warm-coloured textured stoneware crank clay with a strong  body, for a sandy look and feel. The outside is left unglazed, and the inside is glazed in transparent, to make it waterproof. It can hold fresh flowers if you want. I like it on its own like a sculpture.
