Chaos

Carved from solid blocks of stoneware, the kurinuki feet of the pieces in this project evoke the dramatic granite chaos of the Breton coastline - massive granite boulder piled together in seemingly chaotic formations.

Counterbalanced by the delicate upper vessel that seem barely laid upon them, they echo the delicate balance of our lives as layers accumulate.
