Scallop Shell Dish - Beige Stoneware - Wood-Fired

A small clam dish created as a nod to Brittany, inspired by shells foraged on the shore of Northern Brittanry.

This unique piece was fired at 1,300 degrees in a traditional wood-fired kiln, thanks to an intense three-day collective effort in May 2026. It bears the unique marks of the fire, the ashes and the shells used as supports.

Glazed interior, unglazed back.

• Dimensions: 7.50 cm length x 6.50 cm width x 2-2.50 cm height

• Material: beige French stoneware

• Finish: Gloss transparent glaze.

• Approximate weight: 50-60 g.

Each piece is handmade and therefore unique. These dimensions are given as an indication. They will almost certainly vary slightly from one piece to another, especially with this very organic shape.
