Each Candlestick / Candle holder is slowly pinched by hand, the form born naturally under my fingers from spontaneity. They are all unique!
Depending on the candles you use, the hole may be slightly too big to hold upright. My tip: just light the candle and drip a pool of wax into the bottom of the hole in the candlestick. Press the candle's bottom into the wet wax, holding it upright until the wax hardens enough to keep it in place.
Each piece is handmade and therefore different. These dimensions are provided as a guide, on an indicative basis. They will most certainly vary slightly from one piece to the other.
Unglazed, it's all about the natural colour and texture of the clay.
Ceramics shouldn't be exposed to rapid temperature changes. Use in microwaves is not recommended, as there is the chance of cracking.
Each piece has its own character, with beautiful imperfections, as they are all hand built in my studio, before going through two high-temperature kiln firings. I use recycled stoneware, so little speckles and nuances may appear from time to time, that's the beauty of it.
